HR Excellence in Research

In the area of personnel development, the Institute of Psychology strives to stabilize sufficient capacities at all levels of management, introduce effective career growth processes across career stages, and ensure conditions for more intensive employment of foreign scientists through the implementation of HR Excellence in Research (HRS4R). The vision also includes improving human resource management and strengthening expertise in the field of HR management in the scientific sphere. These steps will improve the quality of working conditions for current employees and the attractiveness of the working environment for top domestic and foreign researchers.

On August 6, 2025, the Institute of Psychology of the Czech Academy of Sciences signed up to the principles of the European Charter for Researchers, thus officially launching preparations for the implementation of these principles in practice with the aim of continuously increasing its competitiveness, efficiency, and quality of scientific activity.
